Sue Kwon is Chief Communications Officer at Lila Sciences, where she leads the company's communications, public relations, and marketing functions. She brings a unique combination of journalism and communications expertise, with a career spanning media, technology, and venture capital.
Sue began her career in the White House Press Office and went on to spend more than a decade as the CBS TechWatch reporter covering Silicon Valley, before building full-stack marketing and communications functions at technology companies including Symantec and Nokia.
Prior to LILA at General Catalyst, she led global communications amid the firm's expansion into Europe and India, doubling top-tier media coverage and placing the firm at the top of industry media mentions across AI, defense technology, and healthcare. She also led VC communications for Comcast Ventures and Felicis.
Sue is an AP and Emmy Award-winning journalist and holds a BA in Communications and Political Science from Stanford University. She taught Mastery in Communication sessions at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and served on the Board of the Asian American Journalists Association and the International Children's Art Museum of San Francisco.
