Jack Milwid leads the Office of the CEO at Lila Sciences, where he helps shape the company's approach to teambuilding, culture, and operations. A scientist and entrepreneur, he brings deep experience founding and building biotechnology companies and translating early scientific ideas into enduring organizations.
Prior to LILA, Jack was President and co-founder of Related Sciences, a data science-driven drug discovery firm. Prior to that, he was a principal at Flagship Pioneering, where he co-founded Sana Biotechnology, Cobalt Biomedicine, and Kaleido Biosciences. He started his career as an associate at Third Rock Ventures where he co-founded Neon Therapeutics.
Jack holds a PhD in Medical Engineering and Medical Physics from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology, an MS in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT, and a ScB from the Colorado School of Mines.
