Daniele Malleo is Vice President of Product, AI Science Factories at Lila Sciences, where he leads the strategic and operational work that translates Lila's vision of scientific superintelligence into reality. He drives architecture definition, prioritization frameworks, and the cross-functional alignment between science, engineering, and leadership required to build autonomous research platforms that accelerate breakthrough scientific discoveries.
Daniele owns the scaling strategy for AI Science Factories, and the ownership frameworks that govern how Lila engages with its customers and partners. He brings over fifteen years of experience taking complex biomedical and analytical technologies from concept through commercialization, with a background spanning R&D, systems engineering, and product development.
Prior to LILA, Daniele served as SVP of R&D at Cellares, and held Engineering and R&D roles at Becton Dickinson, Abbott Laboratories and Berkeley Lights.
He holds a PhD and MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton, UK.
