Bruce Kessler is Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Lila Sciences. A recognized leader at the intersection of law and technology, Bruce brings deep expertise in helping organizations navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes in high-growth environments.
Prior to LILA, he founded and led the Digital & Technology Legal Team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, providing strategic counsel to the C-suite on AI and digital issues in the life sciences industry, including leading the establishment of the company’s Responsible AI Framework. Earlier, he founded Nike's Legal Innovation team, leading the company-wide effort to redesign all contracting and procurement to risk optimize these capabilities at speed. He started his career as a software engineer, with experience in developing solutions in healthcare environments.
He holds a JD, cum laude, from Boston University and an MS in Computer Science and a BS in Computer Science and International Relations, cum laude, from Tufts University.
